Almost the whole Studio Nitsche joined Philipp Nitsche during his artist residency in Los Angeles, Günsterode in summer 2023, to build the first part of the "Rudihouse".

This pavilion-like structure consists of a round deck and an oven. In part two, it will be completed with a roof and a weatherproof curtain.
Then will be revealed that the oven is not only the heart of the house, but in this case also the structural centerpiece.

Presented during "La II Barnale", the Rudihouse quickly became the compounds monkey rock, with people gathering on the deck and kids climbing the oven.
