During his residency 2023, artist and chef Caique Tizzi created an edible work of art out of Los Angeles and its local specialities. In the process, he scoured the surroundings for unknown ingredients and let the people of Günsterode initiate him into their culinary traditions, their farms and gardens. The resulting meal was shared and celebrated by guests from far away as well as from the immediate neighborhood, with the most diverse biographies and connections to the place.
Food was served on beaver tail tiles, which are common in the region for the tiling of roofs and walls.
