Grand Opening
September 5th 2020 marked the official opening of LOS ANGELES. For the first time visitors from near and far were able to catch a glimpse of the House with clear shapes and a complex entrance’s interior.
The opening was accompanied by performances of the Lunsentrio and Paulina Nolte. Design students from the Kunsthochschule Kassel Gina Plantera, Simon Scherer and José Schloss together with their professor Ayzit Bostan presented their unique works around the topic of textile architectures on a variety of places on the lot. Johannes Tassilo Walter’s design for window shades for Jonas von Ostrowski's House with clear shapes and a complex entrance was revealed to the public while Susanne Wegerich and her team from Kassel offered hessian-japanese fusions that were eat- and drinkable.
